KOIN Group was founded by Ayo Oyelola, raised in Barking & Dagenham, East London.

Ayo is a National Football League defensive back, having played for the Jacksonville Jaguars and the Pittsburgh Steelers. He is also a championship-winning player in the Canadian Football League and came through elite youth soccer at Chelsea FC.

That experience, across the NFL, CFL, and top European academies, provides rare, first-hand insight into how talent is evaluated at the highest level, and where the system breaks down.

At every level Ayo experienced, the same issue persisted: athletes were overlooked, not due to a lack of access, information, or credible advocacy. KOIN Group was formed to address that—by creating clear, trustworthy pathways between athletes and the schools, teams, and leagues that demand elite standards.
